Eating Ancestrally: Why Simplicity Is the Real Superfood

Eating Ancestrally: Why Simplicity Is the Real Superfood

Let’s be real — we’ve been lied to.

The food system, the diet industry, the government charts — all of it has led us so far from what actually nourishes the human body, we don’t even recognize real food anymore.

We’re drowning in choices.
Ten thousand grocery store items, yet somehow… we’re still starving.

🧬 The Truth? Ancestral Eating Is the Way Back

I’m not talking about caveman diets or trendy carnivore hashtags. I’m talking about going back to what our grandparents and great-grandparents ate before food became a science experiment.

  • Simple meats
  • Bone broth
  • Lentils, beans, rice
  • Real fruit when it’s in season
  • Eggs, nuts, seeds
  • Salt — the kind your body needs
  • Cooked, warm meals made with intention

That’s ancestral. That’s primal. That’s what built us.

🍽 My Daily Meal — And Why It Works

People ask me all the time what I eat every day. And the answer is so simple, it blows their minds.

Organic rice, organic lentils, bone broth, crockpot chicken breast, a teaspoon of ghee.
That’s it. That’s the base. I eat it 1–2 (sometimes 3) times a day.

Then I sprinkle in:

  • Bananas with cashew butter and hemp seeds
  • A handful of almonds
  • Baja Gold sea salt for minerals
  • Water, warmth, and consistency

No 18-step smoothie.
No microwaved fake meals.
No boxed protein bars made with soy isolate and marketing lies.

Just food. Real food. And it works.

👅 Detoxing Your Taste Buds Is Real

You know what blew my mind recently?

I tried to eat French toast again. The same French toast I ate for two years straight.

And it was disgusting.
Way too sweet. Processed. Artificial. I couldn’t even finish it.

Because I had detoxed my tongue — literally reset my taste buds.

Your body gets addicted to fake sugar, chemicals, and “natural flavors” that aren’t natural at all. But when you break that loop — when you eat real food long enough — those fake foods start to taste like the garbage they are.

Even my daughter said it. She tried eating something she used to love, and now she can taste the chemical bath in it. That’s not loss — that’s freedom.

🧠 People Aren’t Broken — They’re Overwhelmed

We’ve been told to eat:

  • Greens at every meal
  • 8 servings of fruit
  • 3 glasses of milk
  • Whole grains and cereal
  • A “balanced” plate that looks like a rainbow threw up

It’s not food — it’s a marketing plan.

The more complicated your plate looks, the less your body feels safe.

Your body doesn’t need chaos. It needs stability. It needs repetition. It needs basic, real food that it can digest, absorb, and rebuild with.

🪨 The Power of Repetition

I eat the same thing daily.
Not because I’m lazy — but because I’ve tuned in to what my body thrives on.

When you find that groove — when digestion is smooth, your energy is steady, your cravings vanish — you don’t need to chase food highs anymore.

You just eat. And you feel alive.

🔥 How to Eat Ancestrally (Without Losing Your Mind)

Here’s how to simplify and actually nourish your body:

  1. Pick your base.
Rice, lentils, beans, quinoa. Bone broth, root veggies, healthy fats.
  2. Pick your protein.
Chicken, beef, turkey, fish, eggs. Rotate as needed or stick with what works.
  3. Add a fat.
Ghee, avocado oil, olive oil, cashew butter, tahini.
  4. Add simple fruit if tolerated.
    Bananas, grapes, berries.
  5. Salt it with real minerals.
Sea salt, Baja Gold, Celtic, or Redmond salt.
  6. Eat warm.
Soups, stews, brothy meals = healing.
