Nine Symptoms of an Unhealthy Gut

 

1. You Don’t Tolerate Food Anymore

If foods you used to love now make you bloated, nauseous, or leave you running to the bathroom — your gut is waving a red flag. Food sensitivities often stem from a damaged gut lining (leaky gut), microbial imbalances, or inflammation that prevents proper digestion and absorption.

2. Digestive Stress: Gas, Bloating, or Both

Bloating isn’t just uncomfortable — it’s a sign that your digestive system is struggling. This could be due to low stomach acid, poor bile flow, slow motility, or gut flora imbalances.
